On January 31, 2010 a shooting occurred at Moreland Ave. and Caroline St. The shooting was drug related and

during the course of the incident an innocent bystander was shot while in his vehicle. The victim was able to

drive to a nearby parking lot in the Edgewood Shopping Center. However, the shooting was in no way related

to the shopping center. The victim was transported to Grady Hospital and was listed in stable condition. The

Penske moving truck as well as a silver Mercedes were later recovered. The truck contained 1,161 pounds of

marijuana, which was recovered and is being investigated by the APD Narcotics Unit. The driver of the

Mercedes, Rashad Turner, was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Assault, 3 counts of Reckless

Conduct, Criminal Damage to Property and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony. If
