On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at approximately 7:56 pm, officers responded to a report of a Person Stabbed at Moreland Ave SE/ I-20-EB EXPY SE. Upon arrival, officers located a 47-year-old male victim who sustained a laceration to the right hand. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing and transported to the hospital for further evaluation. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was engaged in an altercation with the suspect that escalated to the victim being stabbed. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
