Preliminary Statement: On August 27th, 2024, at approximately 2:22PM, officers responded to 3481 Lakeside Drive NE in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers located a 54-year-old male who sustained apparent gunshot wounds and a 38-year-old male who sustained apparent gunshot wounds. Both males were not alert, conscious, or breathing, and were pronounced deceased on scene. The preliminary investigation indicates that one of the males shot the other, and then sustained a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. At this time, the investigation is ongoing.
