The Atlanta Police Department can confirm the passing of Investigator Aubree Horton. Investigator Horton died in an off-duty incident in Douglas County, Georgia. Investigator Horton joined the Atlanta Police Department in November, 2015 and was most recently assigned to APD's Fugitive Unit.
