Vehicle Impound             

Used when the owner of a private lot calls to impound a car that has been abandoned on their property within the Atlanta Police Departments Jurisdiction.  No registered owner information will be transmitted via this report type.

Vehicle Repossession     

Used by an asset recovery business to notify the Atlanta Police Department when they have repossessed a vehicle within the Atlanta Police Departments Jurisdiction.

Vehicle Impound-Secure Account

Used when the owner of a private lot calls to impound a car that has been abandoned on their property and the towing company wishes to receive the registered vehicle owners information once the report is approved.  An account is required and can be obtained by contacting apducr@atlantaga.gov.  Licensed Towing Companies permitted to operate within the City of Atlanta only.
