Our mission is the education of Atlanta citizens in the operations and practices of their Atlanta Police Department.  The program encourages participants to provide invaluable feedback necessary to foster enhanced police and community relations.

The Atlanta Citizens Police Academy includes twenty-plus hours of skilled and professional instruction delivered in three-hour sessions. We require a one-night per week commitment over a nine-week period.  Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Unless otherwise specified, the Citizens Police Academy will be held at: Atlanta Police Headquarters, 226 Peachtree St. SW  Atlanta, Georgia 30303
