The purpose of the License and Permits unit is to process all requests for Licenses and/or permits in an efficient and effective manner. 

As part of the process, LPU investigators and inspectors:

• Process Applications
• Conduct Background Investigations
• Present applications to the License and Review Board (LRB)
• Process Annual Alcohol Renewals
• Prepare Revocation/Due Cause Packages
• Conduct Criminal Investigations Related to Businesses that Sell Alcoholic Beverages
• Assist the City Solicitor’s Office in Nuisance Property Investigations
