On Sunday, August 14 at 22:36, AFRD responded to the 1700 block of Beecher Street after reports of a structure fire. The first unit arrived within four minutes to heavy smoke and fire showing in the rear of a one-story residence. Firefighters confirmed a working fire and conducted an interior attack to extinguish the fire in the basement and rear of the home. All searches of the residence were clear of occupants. There are no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
