Preliminary Information: On October 11, 2022, at approximately 3:52 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot at 1009 Washington St. SW. Upon arrival, officers located a 43-year-old male victim who had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing and transported by ambulance to the hospital. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim had been shot by a known male. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
