Preliminary Information: On January 10, 2023, at approximately 8:29 p.m., officers responded to Grady Hospital regarding a report of a person shot who had been transported to the hospital by private vehicle. Upon arriving at the hospital, officers located a 39-year-old male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound and was alert, conscious, and breathing. Preliminary investigation indicated that the male was walking near Northside Dr. SW & Larkin St. SW when he sustained his injury. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
