On August 26th, 2023, at approximately 1:03AM, officers were flagged down in the area of 1965 Cascade Road SW in reference to a crashed vehicle with a person shot.  Upon arrival, officers located a disabled white in color sedan and a 47-year-old male driver with a gunshot wound to his torso.  The male was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.  The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to officers arrival.  Homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate the incident.  The investigation continues.
