Preliminary Information: On March 7th, 2024, around 5:46am, officers responded to a call regarding multiple demonstrators at the location of 1421 Peachtree St. NE. Upon arrival, officers located a male who had chained, and duct taped himself to an elevator shaft inside the building which is currently under construction. APD Homeland Security Investigators, Atlanta Fire Rescue and Zone 5 Units arrived on scene and was able to successfully remove the male from the device without incident with the assistance of AFRD. The suspect was identified as Michael Czajkowski. Mr. Czajkowski was then transported to 200 Ted Turner where officers will swear out arrest warrants for obstruction and criminal trespassing.
