Arrest Update:
On November 19th, 2024, 34-year-old Damion Bradberry was placed into custody for his involvement in a homicide that occurred at 1296 Murphy Avenue SW on November 18th, 2024. Mr. Bradberry was charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Knife During the Commission of a Felony. Mr. Bradberry was transported to the Fulton County Jail for processing.
Previously Released:
Preliminary Statement: On November 18th, 2024, at approximately 4:45PM, officers responded to 1296 Murphy Avenue SW in reference to a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located a male who sustained apparent stab wounds. The male was in critical condition and a short time later, was pronounced deceased on scene by medical personnel. Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
