On Monday June 21, 2021, at around 8:05am officers responded to 1670 Lakewood Ave SE on a report of a person shot. On scene officers found an adult male, suspect 1, with a gunshot wound. Suspect 1 was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The preliminary investigation found that suspect 1 had been involved in a domestic dispute with the mother of his child, the victim, at a location on Holly St. After this dispute suspect 1 went to the Lakewood Ave location where the victim’s sister, suspect 2, and the sister’s boyfriend, suspect 3, confronted suspect 1. A physical dispute began, and the two men, suspects 1 and 3, fought physically. During this suspect 1 was shot by suspect 2 who then left the scene.

All three suspects were arrested. Suspect 1 was charged with Battery (DV) and will be taken to the Fulton County Jail when released from the hospital. Suspect 2 was charged with Aggravated Assault for the shooting of suspect 1 and was taken to the Fulton County Jail. Suspect 3 was charged with Battery for the fight with suspect 1 and was taken to the Fulton County Jail.
